On Saturday-1-August, the Bogota VFW's
Ralph Hall Post #5561 held an Italian Night dinner. This was held in the lower
hall at 241 W. Shore Ave. in Bogota, for residents, and any VFW member wishing
to attend.
The menu included Penne in a Vodka Sauce, Cavatappi
and Broccoli with Oil and Garlic, and Lemon Fried Chicken. Prepared by Post
Quartermaster Mr. Brandon Escobar. Also available was a garden salad, finishing
with Cannoli or Tiramisu.
Post Commander Mr. Alexander Herandez walked
around the dining room greeting the patrons and thanked them for their support.
Proceeds from the event will assist in the
maintenance and programs for the post's headquarters.
The
Ralph Hall Post 5561 is also inviting anyone who wishes to join as Veterans of
the Armed Services, or as family members of Veterans to join. For more
