On Thursday-6-August, a book signing event took place at the Bogota Press Café. This was to support a new book written by Ms. Yenlys Flores-Bolivard titled: Just Listen: Stories of Addiction, Loss, and the Love That Stays.
Just Listen is a collection of real stories about those affected by addiction, loss, recovery, and the families who love and support those struggling.
Ms. Flores-Bolivard wrote the book after years of sitting with families and individuals as they shared their experiences with addiction. Her hope is that Just Listen brings awareness to readers and helps them feel for what families are going through and reminds us that behind every struggle is a real person, a real family, and a story worth hearing.
Ms. Flores-Bolivard previously work as the Borough clerk in Bogota New Jersey while working on this project. Family, Friends, and Co-workers attended this signing event to celebrate her debut release.
She gave a brief talk of explaining the process of writing this book, and to thank everyone who supported her and attending the opening. Then she signed copies of everyone who purchased them at the event.
Copies of "Just Listen" are now at Barnes & Noble and Amazon under Just Listen.
