The 7th annual St. Joseph's Carnival and International Food Festival will take place from Tuesday 17- Sept. to Saturday 21-Sept. it will open all five days at 6:30p and go until 10:30p ( Friday it will be opened to 11:00p). This will take place at St. Joseph Church located at 115 E. Ft. Lee Rd at the corner of Palisade Ave. in Bogtoa , NJ. There will be rides, and games set up in the parking lot on the west side of Palisade Ave across from the Church. The International Food Festival will again be in the lawn north of St. Joseph's itself. There will also be a "Super 50/50" which will have only one drawing , on Saturday evening at about 9:00p. Tickets for the Super 50/50 are $25 per ticket. Tickets may be purchased in advance by either going to the Church Rector during normal business hours , or by calling Carol Bobat at 201-342-5976 There will also be daily 50/50 during the evening of the carnival.
The Food Festival will have theme nights for each evening of the Carnival. Tuesday is Taco Day, there will be a Wild Wing Wednesday, Italian Night on Thursday, a Fishapolooza is happening on Friday, and ending with a Southwestern BBQ on Saturday. The Carnival is still looking for volunteers to donate foods , and baked goods for the festival. If anyone want to help with supplying these items please contact Sandy Wieskus at 201-519-2295
The Carnival is also looking for volunteers to help either with the game booth, help sell food, sell raffle tickets, and help with the setting up , and the clean-up at the end of the evening. Volunteers can be anyone over the age of 16. With volunteers under 16 needs to be with a parent to work the game booth, but can still help with setting, & cleaning up.
