Bergen County Juvenile Fire Prevention will be host a program to teach young student basic knowledge of fire safety. This will be held at the Bogota Recreation Center starting at 9:30a to 12:00 noon. This is for Students age 5 years and older, along with their Parents. This will happen on the week schools are closed for Easter Break to allow this to being during daylight hours. Admission is free , but reservations are required due to space. A breakfast will be provided. The Bogota Public library will present the movie " Penguins of Madagascar" This will start at 6:00p and be held in the Seniors Center on the second floor. Admission is free with snacks and water available for $1.00 with the process going to help fund future Library events. The Bogota VFW post #5561 will host an evening of Wrestling presented by Pro Wrestling Magic. The event is Schedule to start at 7:15p. Tickets will be $10.00 in advance and $12.00 at the doors. The Bogota Public Library will have a " Meet & Greet" with its new Director of the Library Radwa Ali. Ms Ali started this position in December of 2014 and has begun to transform the Bogota Library into more of a Community Center. Some of her new programs include a " Dr. Who" club to take advantage of the popular television series. Another major addition is the "Smarty Pants" lecture series. This is a chance for Bogota residents to meet and hear about different subject along with a chance to learn about local authors and their book.
This event will allow the public a chance to meet Ms. Ali one on one and discuss her ideas and goals for the Library. It will be held at the Senior Center on the second floor of the Library, and will start at 7:30p This is a free event and open to the public. The Library ask to reserve a space by calling 201-488-7185 of by email at director@bogtoa.bccls.org on or before Thursday 9- April.

The weekly " Meet the Mayor" event will take place in the office of Mayor Chris Keleman This is open to any Bogota resident who would to ask the Mayor a question about Bogota, or to discuss any matter to help improve the quality of life in the Borough. Anyone who wishes just to have an informal conversation with the Mayor is also welcome to attend. Meetings will be held on a first come basis. This will run from 5:00p to 7:00p in the Mayors office. His office is on in Bogota Borough Hall located at 375 Larch Ave. Bogota, NJ.
