Bogota Sports

  Some items from High School Sports
 - Girls and Boys cross country teams each had double championship wins, The first was the NJIC League Championship on Tuesday 16- Oct at the Garrett Mountain course Both squads won the Patriot Division title. With seven runners placing in the top 25 and sweeping the first three places  Elizabeth O'Brien lead the Girls squad to victory finishing  in first place, followed by Jillian O'Brien, then Anais Fernandez coming in third with all three crossing the line within 3 seconds of each another.
  The Boys team was lead by Jovanie Sotomayor's second place finish helping secure the win. Liam Geraghty placed fourth, with Quinn Geraghty taking fifth. the Boys placed their seven runners in the top 28 of the 61 man field.
On Saturday 20-Oct. the squads completed their double by winning the Varsity Group D Championships at Darlington Park.
  The Girls place all seven runners in the top 20 with Anais Fernandez finishing in second, Elizabeth O'Brien taking third and Jillian O'Brien finishing fifth.
  For the Boys Jovanie Sotomayor had a second place finish.With  Liam Geraghty placing sixth and Michael Gioiosa taking tenth.

In Volleyball the Lady Bucs finished their season 25-2 with a 2-0 (25- 9 ; 25-14)  win at Ramapo the next start the Section playoff ranked as the #1 team and face #32 Roselle in the first round. this will be played Tuesday 30- Oct.

In Football the Bucs travel to Saddle Brook on Saturday for a 1:00p kick-off.
