Some events happening around Bogota for the upcoming weekend.
-The Bogota Bucs Football team will play their senior game this Saturday 10-Nov. at Feigel Field against Lodi. The Kickoff is Scheduled for 1:00p. This game has pushed back to the 10th because of the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy. If the weather holds up the senior players, and cheerleaders along with their parents should be honoured at this game.
- The Bogota Lady Bucs Volleyball team is waiting to find out who their next opponent will be after a victory over Roselle 2-0 (25-5 : 25-6) in the first round of the group 1 tournament.
- Bogota Fire Dept. Engine Co. #1 is hosting a Pancake Breakfast on Saturday 10- Nov. at the Applebees in Hackensack. This will run from 8:00a to 10:00p at the Applebee's Restaurant located in the Home Depot shopping Plaza at 450 Hackensack Ave. Tickets are $10.00 and can be bought at the door. or from a member of Engine Co. #1. -Also on Saturday 10 Nov. there will be a benefit to support the Bergen County Juvenile Fire Prevention at Mexi-Cali live in Teaneck.Scheduled to perform are the U-2 cover band " Unforgettable Fire" along with " The Shots" from Bergen County. -Finally on Monday 12- Nov. the Ralph Hall post of the VFW in Bogota will be holding their Veteran's Day event starting at 8:00p.
