The Bogota Lady Bucs Volleyball team was given a #2 ranking in the 2022 Bergen County Women's Volleyball Tournament. They host the #31 ranked Garfield Lady Boilermakers on Saturday 8-October in an opening round match. This took place at home in Speary Gym. Bogota would serve first, in the opening set, but Garfield would score the first two points. The Lady Bucs tied the set at 2 a piece, then took their first lead of the Match. Quickly Bogota would double the score at 8-4 and again at 10 to 5. The Lady Bucs would go on to win the set 25-11. The second set started with the Lady Boilermakers serving and grabbing a one-point lead. Bogota would win back service to tie the set. The Lady Bucs' Angelina Buhler then served 11 straight Points. Gianna Estevez then had her own service run and push the score to 17-2 for Bogota. The Lady Bucs would win the Match 2-0 (25-11 : 25-8) Ashanna Caviness had match high of 14 Kills, Mia Pimentel, had 22 Assist along with 6 Service Points including 2 Aces. Gianna. Estevez had a team high with 8 Digs

This win would move them into the second round were they would face the Lodi Immaculate Conception Blue Wolves. This took place on Sunday-9-October at Old Tappan High School. Bogota would win this match by a score of 2-0 (25-22: 25- 10). Ashanna Caviness had 16 Kills, and 2 Blocks. Seniah Burrell also recorded 2 Blocks. Mia Pimentel had 26 Assist. Gianna Estevez scored 10 Digs. Sarah Marquez had 8 Service Points. Angelina Buhler and Jenelly Jimenez both had 2 Aces. They now have a record of 14-1.
Their next Tournament Match will be a Quarterfinal match on Saturday-15-October against #7 Demarest. This will be played in Old Tappan, with the start time to be announced.
Their next league match will be on Tuesday 11-October. This will be against Palisades Park and take place in Speary Gym. The first serve is scheduled for 4:00p.
