Results of Bogota Varsity sports from Tuesday-17-October. The Bogota Soccer Bucs traveled to Palisades Park to play the Tigers. The home team would score twice in the first half and one more time after the restart for a 3-0 win. Bogota is now 0-13. They next play on Thursday-19-October when they host New Milford. This will start at 4:00p on Zakrzewski Field in Olsen Park.
The Lady Bucs Volleyball team hosted the Lady Royals of Ridgefield in Speary Gym. The Lady Royals would serve first, with Bogota scoring first. Ridgefield tied the set at 1 apiece, then the Lady Bucs would take a 4-1 lead. After that both teams would not allow the opposition to have more than a two-point advantage for much of the first set. Three quarters into this first set the tams accounted for 6 ties and 4 lead changes. After Bogota took the final lead, they would go on a number of scoring runs which ended in a 25-18 win.
The second set had Bogota serve first and open a 6-0 lead. This was followed by a second service run which move the score to 11-1. Ridgefield would have a scoring run of their own which closed the margin to five points. The Lady Bucs then return to controlling the play and won the set by the score of 25 to 17. This gave then a 2-0 match win. They are now 13-6. Emma Fowler scored a match high with 16 Kills. Ridgefield's Amanda Montufar had a match high with 5 Blocks. The Lady Bucs Keidy Rodriguez and Talia Luciano both had 2 Blocks. Nicoletta Amato led all players with 25 Digs, with Jenelly Jimenez recording 6. Bogota's Kaelee Zuniga had a match high of 28 Assist. Isabella Cruz, Melannie Solis, and Adamary Pino all had 2 Aces.

Lady Bucs Emma Fowler was named the Star-Ledger's North Jersey Interscholastic Conference player of the week for 11 to 17 -October.
