A quick recap of Bogota sports from Saturday 10-Sept.
The Bogota Lady Bucs Volleyball team took part in the Jersey Classic Tournament at Paramus High School. Bogota finished second in their pool and earned a spot in the Gold bracket. They suffered at 17-25 loss to Immaculate Heart Academy in Bracket play.
Their next schedule match in on Tuesday 13-Sept as they host Park Ridge at Speary Gym. This will start at 4:00p
The Bogota Cross Country squads participated in the Season Opening meet at Darlington Park. In the Varsity "B" race for Women the Lady Bucs Alanah O'Brien placed third. With Emma O'Brien finishing 12th and Angeli Japersaud finishing 17th. Bogota place third out the 8 squads competing.
In the Men's Varsity "B" race Bogota's James Draney and Danny Daurio finished first and second. Ryan White placed 4th, with Cole Geraghty 7th, and Daniel Rivera 10th. Bogota place first as a team against a total of nine schools competing.
Their next meet will be on Wednesday 14-September against Bergen Charter School, Hawthorne Christian Academy/ Saddle River Day School. This will take place at the Darlington Park race course with the Women's race starting at 4:30p and the Men's race schedule for 5:00p
