On Wednesday-4-March the #1 seed Bogota Basketball Bucs hosted the #8 Boonton Bombers in the Quarterfinal of the New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association Men’s Basketball North 1, Group 1 Tournament. This was played on the Jay Mahoney Court at Speary Gym. Boonton would control most the game from the start, with their defense forcing turnovers. The Bombers also prevented the Bucs high quality scoring opportunities, while taking advantage of their own chances. Boonton ended the first quater with a 15-5 lead. The Bombers' held Bogota to single digits for the the three quarters on the way to a 58-38 upset win.
Ashanti Caviness led all scores with 22 Points including 3 Three Point Baskets. Madrit Asani , of Boonton, had a team high with 19 Points and 2 Three Point Baskets. Bogota finishes their season with a record of 19-7
