   The Bogota Creative Arts Team (CAT)  online survey is available.  This is to learn how to develop a plan of action in-order to improve the expansion of arts and culture opportunities with-in the Borough.  
 The survey is available now and the Public is encouraged to participate. This will allow the residents of Bogota to express their felling and thoughts on how the Bogota CAT can best serve the Public interest.

The  Bogota police Department will restart enforcing the No Overnight Parking and No Friday Parking as normal starting on Friday-31-July.

Now until Monday-24-August  Bogota Friends and Families is sponsoring drive to purchaseschool supplies for  the Students going to Bogota Public Schools.  Items can purchased on the You Give Goods website at:  https://yougivegoods.com/drive-12255.  Everyone purchasing items will be emailed a tax receipt at the time of purchase.  Online prices include shipping, handling and You Give Goods services. A sample of items available for donation are: Backpacks, Boxes of school  supplies, Notebooks, and collections of reading books. Supplies will be delivered before the start of the school year. Volunteers will sort the supplies and distribute them evenly to the three public schools of the Bogota Board of Education. Their goal is 8,000 items. All donations are tax deductible.

As part of their Summer Reading  program the Bogota Library will host Fairy Tale Story Writing Challenge. The goal of this program is to bring people of all ages together to share their very own Fairy Tale Stories.
Stories will be shared as a whole at a later date this summer! Submissions will be accepted until Saturday-18-July.

The Bogart Memorial Church will again offer in-person services. They will have both Spanish and English services scheduled to start at 10:10a. Masks and safe distances are required.

Trinity Lutheran Church in Bogota has started to offer their Sunday services again. Sunday service will start at 9:30a. The Sunday School will begin at 10:30a. There will be Wednesday Bible  Studies at 7:00p. Masks and safe distances are required.

   St. Joseph Church in Bogota again will offer their Sunday Service in person. The number of participant will be limited. The Church will have a registration system allowing individuals to sign up and attend Mass.   The Yeshivat He'atd of Teaneck is hosting a Drive-by Clothing Drive.  This will run from 4:00p to 8:00p at 1500 Queen Anne Rd Teaneck, NJ. They ask that all donation be place in securely tied bags. For more information please go to www.yadleah.org

This will be held in Veteran Park scheduled to start at 7:00p.  Bogota Beautiful will  host thier next Yoga in the Park. This will take place on the first four Saturdays in August. It will be held in Olsen Park and scheduled to start at 9:00a. This year yoga instructors Ms. Lorrie Nichols and Ms. Lynn Demetrakis will lead the classes. Participation is free of charge, but reservation must be made for each session. To adhere current health and safety guidelines class will restricted to 25 people. All safety protocols will be followed for all classes. This includes: 
-If anyone in a family has symptoms of covid-19,  they are asked to remain home.                   -Everyone attending MUST bring their own mat.
 -There will be sanitizing stations available. (to clean mats before and/or after)
-There will be practicing  of safe sign-in/registration (via your own electronic device)
-Physical distancing of 6 feet will be strictly adhered to with our on-site monitoring.
-Masks must be used upon arrival and departure as maintenance of 6 feet might be difficult when class is not in session. Homemade masks are sufficient.
-PPE (masks, gloves, etc) will not be mandatory while class is in session.
Class will be cancelled due to inclement weather and notice will be shared on our website and social media accounts at least one hour or more advance notice.

He will be available  to answer all of your burning questions. From survival tips, to dating advice, to fun facts about the Skeeball Master himself - Jerry's got the answers!
