On Monday-31-October the #1 Seed Bogota Lady Bucs Volleyball team hosted the #8 Kinnelon Lady Colts. This was a Quarterfinal Match of the 2022 New Jersey Interscholastic Athletic Association Women's Volleyball North Jersey, Section 1, Group 1 Tournament. It was played at Speary Gym. Bogota served first and saw Kinnelon scored the first point of the match. After a few ties the Lady Bucs would take a 3-2 lead. Bogota would maintain a steady pace slowly extending their advantage. They would win the set by a score of 25-15. Kinnelon had the first serve in the second set, but the Lady Bucs would grab to a 3-0 lead. Bogota again kept up the scoring pace and limited the number of Points the Lady Colts would score. Bogota won this set by a score of 25-13 and a match win 20-0.
Bogota's Ashanna Caviness and Angelina Buhler had a Match high with 12 Kills each. Lindsey Millis led Kinnelon with 10 Kills. Mia Pimentel led all players with 22 Assists for the Lady Bucs. Sophia Gianforte scored 11 Assist for Kinnelon. Angelina Buhler scored 8 Service Point with 2 Aces for Bogota while Natalie Hoffman had 5 Service Points for the Lady Colts. Gianna Estevez recorded had 12 Digs for the Lady Bucs. With Kinnelon's Sophie Pogodin finished with a Match high of 13 Digs. Bogota's Seniah Burrell had a Match and Career high with 4 Blocks. Maddie Cignini had one block for her team
Bogota's record is now 23-2. Their next match is on Thursday-3-November with the Semifinal round. #1 Bogota will host #4 Saddle Brook at Speary Gyn with the First Serve at 6:00p* time subject to change.
