Lady Bucs Volleyball

   On Friday-3-November the #4 Bogota Lady Bucs traveled to #1 Glen Rock Lady Panthers in a Semifinal match of the 2023 New Jersey State Emerson Lady Cavaliers in the opening round of the 2023 New Jersey State Interscholastic Association North Jersey, Section 1, Group 1 Tournament.  Bogota would win the match 2-0 (25-21: 25-20). They now have a record of 18-6. 

 This match featured a team effort with the Lady Bucs scoring Match highs by multiple players.

   Emma Fowler and Isabella Cruz had a match high with 12 Kills. Glen Rock's Audrey Damis had 8 Kills. Anandi Figueroa and Talia Luciano both recorded 4 Blocks each along with Ms. Damis also having 4 Blocks. Melannie Solis scored 8 Service Points with 2 Aces. Jenelly Jimenez and Adamary Pino also had 2 Aces. Lady Panthers' Isadora Goncalves Messuti had 8 Service Points with 2 Aces for her team.  Kaelee Zuniga scored a match high 26 Assist, with Gabriella Kim having 19 Assists. Bogota's Jenelly Jimenez had match high of 14 Digs. Elena Collado recorded a team high of 9 Digs for the Lady Panthers. 

Bogota next plays at #3 Kinnelon the Final Round of the 2023 New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association North Jersey, Section 1, Group 1 Tournament. This will take place on Tuesday-7- November and scheduled for a 4:30p first serve.
