The Bogota Public Library is continuing its project to create the Nikki Spiegel Storytime Corner in the Library's main floor. To help off set the cost they have set-up a go fund me page at: https://www.gofundme.com/nikkispiegel. As of this week the Library is under $800 of meeting there needed goal.

The weekly " Meet the Mayor" event will take place in the office of Mayor Chris Keleman This is open to any Bogota resident who would to ask the Mayor a question about Bogota, or to discuss any matter to help improve the quality of life in the Borough. Anyone who wishes just to have an informal conversation with the Mayor is also welcome to attend. Meetings will be held on a first come basis. This will run from 5:00p to 7:00p in the Mayor's office. His office is on in Bogota Borough Hall located at 375 Larch Ave. Bogota, NJ.

The library is again working with AARP this year to provided assistance in tax preparation. This will be available on Thursday and Fridays from now until Saturday 15- April. This is targeted to anyone over the age of 60 who could also be collecting Social Security .

This is the first step in creating a collection of recipes in order to produce a cook book to become a fundraiser for the Bogota Public Library. On Thursday-16-March the St.Joseph's School in Bogota, NJ will present it's eight annual Sherlock Holmes Mystery Dinner Theatre. This years production will be "Sherlock Holmes and the Ring of Terror" Tickets are priced at $17 for Adults and $7 for Students from 9-17 years of age. The price of admission included a pre-show Pasta Dinner along with Dessert. There will also be a raffle of prizes available during Dinner. Doors open at 6:00p with a Curtain of 7:00p. Prizes will be announced at intermission.

The Bogota Public Library will host a workshop for young athletes in Bogota This will be the first of four Saturday's to encourage Students to learn more about how learning any sport can be beneficial in everyday life. It will be in two separate age groups. One group for anyone ages from 2-4 will run from 10:30a to 11:00a. The second group will be for ages 5-7 and start at 11:15a to 12:00 noon. The Ridgefield Park Elks Lodge # 1506 will be holding a All you can eat Breakfast. This will start at 8:30a and go until 12:00 noon Prices are $10 for Adults and $5 for student 12 and under. The Breakfast will feature an Omelette station, Pancakes, Bacon,Sausage, French toast, & scrambled eggs. There will also be pastries, cereal along with Coffee, Tea, Milk & Juice. It is asked to bring some Non-perishable food items for the Local Food Pantry.
