Last night at the Glenpointe Marriott, the Rotary club of Teaneck hosted a group of local restaurants offering a sampling of their fares. Their were some old favorites like Vitale's with their signature Italian cooking, and Classic Quiche with a couple of different quiches to try. Both of these restaurants are located on Queen Anne Rd. worth a short walk from the east side of Bogota, or a quick stop off while driving home.
There was also some new places like MK valencia on Main St in Ridgefield Park. Just opened this past December MK's has some Italian- American cuisine set in a" Manhattan Style" atmosphere.
Some other choice's of Teaneck restaurants were, Honey Gourmet & Market with a Mediterranean flare on Teaneck Rd. For Kosher food Ma'adan located on Cedar Ln. had a spicy "Buffalo Wings" to try. And for sushi lovers there was Chai Ko Tapas also on Cedar Ln.
And for a sweet ending " i am cupcakes" with a large and unique varieties of cupcakes to sample. They are in Little Ferry , NJ and will cater for parties.
The Executive Chef of the Marriott itself was on hand to have some examples of what the hotel had to offer for it's catering service.
