Teams from Bogota High School started their seasons starting on the first day of the school. The Bogota Men's Bucs Soccer team opened their season hosting Park Ridge at Overpeck Park Soccer field in Ridgefield Park. Bogota Lost to Park Ridge by the score of 1-4. Maximiliano scored the the Bucs only goal. On Wednesday- 9-Sept. they traveled to Saddle Brook. Tied at one apiece at halftime, Saddle Brook score two goal before Fulltime to give the Falcons a 2-3 victory. Nico Calabia & Connor McDonnell scored for Bogota.
Their next game will be on Monday 14-Sept at Palisades Park, kick-off is scheduled for 4:00p
On Wednesday -9-Sept the Bogota Cross Country Squad had a Tri-meet at Darlington Park The ran against squads from Hawthorne Christian & Waldwick. The Lady Bucs defeated both school with Jillian O'Brien & Alanah O'Brien finishing first & second. Bogota placed five runners in the top ten.
The Men's squad also swept their race with Eight Bogota runners in the top ten. Andy Jaipersaud lead all runners with James Draney, Daniel Daurio & Cole Geraghty following him.
The next meet for Bogota will be The Season Opener Meet at Darlington Park on Saturday 12-Sept. Start time will vary. The Bucs next league meet will be on Wednesday 16-September at Darlington Park. This will be a tri-meet against Midland Park & Palisades Park. The Lady Bucs race is schedule to start at 4:30p. With the Men's race starting at 5:00p
