    Read to Maggie the Beagle returns for her Fall reading program. She will be available to help your child foster their love of reading by letting them be Maggie's Reading Buddy. Come on down, pick out a book, and read to Maggie in the Children's Section. The time will be at 4:00p stating in September, and throughout the School Year. Please call the Library at  (201) 488 - 7185 to  find out exact times and to register.

       The weekly " Meet the Mayor"  event will take place in the office of Mayor Chris Keleman  This is open to any Bogota resident who would to ask the Mayor a question about  Bogota, or to discuss any matter to help improve the quality of life in the Borough. Anyone who wishes just to have an informal conversation with the Mayor is also welcome to attend. Meetings will be held on a first come basis. This will run from 5:00p to 7:00p in the Mayor's office. His office is on in Bogota Borough Hall located at 375 Larch Ave. Bogota, NJ.

Tuesday-15- September

   The Bogota Public Library is hosting a Summer Science series for Student in third grader or higher. The next session will be on Tuesday 15 September starting at 4:00p.  Advanced registration is required for each week, this is needed to determine the amount of  materials  needed for that week's session.  There will be a different topic for each session, and will continue throughout the School Year.

  The Bogota Public Library will host a lecture about the quality  of home tap water and what can be done about it. This will be presented by Cecilia Echeverri- Velasco from the company Ulta Pure.

   Bogota Beautiful has their next board meeting starting at 7:30p. It will take place in the Council Chambers of Borough Hall. Located at 375 Larch Ave. Bogota, NJ. The Public is welcome to attend.

Thursday-17- September 
Bogota

    The Bogota Public Library will present the movie "Cinderella". This will be the 2015 production of this movie.The Friends of the Bogota Library will be selling snacks and water for $1.00 each. All proceeds fund library programs and new materials.

      The Bogota Borough Council will be holding their regular Council meeting  and work session starting at 7:30p. It will take place in the Council Chambers of Borough Hall. Borough Hall is located at 375 Larch Ave. Bogota, NJ.  This meeting is open to the public.

Friday-18- September
Hackensack, NJ

   The Hackensack  Cultural Arts Center will host a Lunchtime Concert Series at the  Atlantic Street Park . This week's performance will be Rasha Jay, which will feature a selection of Alternative Blues, & Rock. It is advised anyone wishing to attend bring their own chair, or blanket. This is a free event.  Atlantic St. Park is located at  the corner of Atlantic Ave and State St. Hackensack, NJ

Friday-18- September 
Bogota
      Pro Wrestling is Magic returns to the Bogota VFW with "Ascendio".  Doors will open at 7:15p and the opening bell  scheduled for 7:45p with a number of title match on the card. Tickets are $10 per person in advance and $12 at the door. There will also be a VIP package available for $25 per person which will include guaranteed front row seating  along with a Pro Wrestling Magic t-shirt.  There is a limited number of front row seat available.

Teaneck New Theatre & The Hackensack Cultural Arts Center Presents           The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged)

Performance will be Fridays & Saturdays at 8 pm/Sundays at 3 pm 18-20 Sept & 25-27 Sept.

Saturday-12- September
Bogota

    The Bogota Public library  have extended their  fitness club  Saturday session  into September. The schedule starting time is still 10:30a to 11:30a. This will incorporate a number of different techniques  from the "Team Beachbody® Fit Clubs". This will be a free event to anyone 18 years or older. All fitness levels are welcomed. Anyone who attends must bring their own Yoga mat, towel, and water bottle. Comfortable exercise clothes are recommended.
