On 30-July a fund raising web-site for Bogota Public Schools was unveiled in order to aid those Students needing supplies for the upcoming school year. The site is called “You Give Goods” and is currently running. Within the first two days, of going live the original target of 500 donations was achieved. The goal has been expanded to 750 donations of supplies to the Public School Students of Bogota. This “You Give Goods” page is sponsored by Kristin Meberg, Amanda Montgomery, and Lisa Kohles. Their goal is to have enough supplies donated by Wednesday 14-August and to be distributed to the Students at Steen, Bixby, and Bogota High School by the start of the 2019-20 school year. On the “You Give Goods” web-site Individual, or Business, can purchase needed items for the Students attending Bogota Public Schools. By accessing the shop now page, those donated can choose the items they wish to purchase for the Students. At the end of the drive “You Give Goods” will deliver the items purchased to a central Bogota location. Supplies will then be distributed to the three schools base on the need of their Students.
