Free Delivery

19-November-2019
The Bogota Public Library has announced the start of a new service for residents who can not travel to the Library. Beginning in December 2019 , the Library will offer a delivery service which will enable Bogota residents, who are unable to visit the library for an extended time due to illness or disability, to have books, DVDs, audiobooks and magazines delivered right to their door for free. The new Homebound Delivery Service is available to any Bogota residents with valid library cards. Deliveries will be made once a week on Thursdays. Orders must be placed by phone or email by noon the Wednesday before a delivery.  The delivery person will also pick-up any items that need to be returned to the Library. Any requested item currently unavailable will be delivered upon availability.  members of the Library's staff will be making the deliveries.  All Homebound Delivery patrons are responsible for accepting books from library staff. If , for some reason, they cannot come to the door, a safe place must be designated where books can be left.
For more information or to become a Homebound Delivery patron, Bogota residents can call 201-488-7185 or email bogtcirc@bccls.org.
