   Results of Bogota Varsity Sports from the past weekend.

   The Bogota Cross Country Bucs competed in the in the 2025 Bergen County Groups Championship meet in Darlington Park.  Bogota is Group "D".

 The Lady Bucs won the Women's 500m meter run, out of the 4 teams taking part.  Bogota runners place 5 runners in the top ten positions out of the 38 Athletes overall.  Ana Michel won the Group D individual title. Fergie Onate-Avila followed in 2nd place. Anna Ter-Meliksetian was in 5th place. Paulina Montesinos came in at 7th, and Isabell Cruz finished in 9th position.

 The Men's Squad won the Men's 500m meter run, from a field of 9 schools. They had five runners finishing out of the top 20 in a field of 61 contestants. Emmanuel Marin won the Group D individual title. Hussain Salam, and Zohaib Syed finished 4th & 5th respectfully. Raymond Ehrmann placed in 11th, with Ethan Schwarzenbach coming in at 16th. 

 These results has earned both squads a place in the 2025 Bergen County Meet of Champions on Saturday-25- October in Darlington Park starting at 11:00a.

 -Thursday-16-Oct

 The Bogota Lady Bucs Volleyball won at home vs Lyndhurst 2-0 (25-:25-20) Emma Fowler had 16 Kills. Logan Canada and Ariana Carmona had 2 Blocks each. Nikole Alvarez recorded 26 Assists, with Lucy Villamar scoring 10 Service Points.

 The Bogota Football Bucs lost at Secaucus by the score of 29 to 15.  Jason Alvarado scored two Touchdown passes from Jayden Gonzalez. Jayden Gonzalez had a team high with 137 passing yards and led the team with 39 yards Rushing.  Matt Heras had a game high with 6 Solo Tackles and 1 Fumble Recovery. Jayden Gonzalez recorded 1 Interception.

 Bogota's record in on 5-3. They next play on Saturday-25-October vs Palisades Park. This will be the Homecoming and Senior Night game with a 6:00p Kickoff. It will be held on Feigel Feild in the Bogota Athletic Complex.

 -Saturday-18-October

 The #5 Lady Bucs lost to # 4 Demarest in the Quarterfinals of the 2025 Bergen County Women's Tournament 3-0 (25-21: 25-19: 25-21)

 They are now 16-4 with their next match on Tuesday-21-October against Leonia. This will be the Senior Game with the first serve at 6:00p in Speary Gym.

 The Bogota Soccer Bucs hosted Saddle River Day School in the Bronze division of the 2025 Bergen Invitational Tournament. The Visitors would win the game by a score of 2-0.  Joshua Quevedo made 8 Saves. 

 Thier record is now 2-13. They next play on Friday-24-October against Paterson Charter School. This will be the Senior Night game with a 5:00p Kickoff. It will be held on Feigel Feild in the Bogota Athletic Complex.
