Scores from the weekend of the teams from Bogota
The Bogota Junior Bucs were sweep in their games against Secaucus on Saturday.
The Pee-Wee team lost 18-6, the Junior team lost 33-7 and the Senior team lost 20-7. The Junior Bucs next play on Friday 1-Nov. at Englewood. The Pee-Wee game starting at 6:00p with the other two games to follow afterwards.
The High School Bucs Football team lost to St. Mary's 41-0. The next play their final regular Home game on Saturday. 2-Nov. against Saddle Brook. The Kickoff is scheduled for 2:00p.
The Bogota Cross Country Squads raced in the Bergen County Group Championships at Darlington Park. Both Bogota teams ran in the Group D events. The Girls Squad finished even in points with Cresskill for the top spot, the Cougars earned the victory by having a faster total time by less than 40 seconds. Individually Jillian O'Brien placed third overall, with Anais Fernandez coming in at sixth, Madeline Rivera 11th, Katherine Vega 16th and Marianna Castro 19th.
The Boys Squad won their second straight Group D title by 12 ahead of Cresskill. Quinn Geraghty took fourth overall, with Chris Rivera, Michael Gioiosa, Andy Jaipersaud placing 10, 11, 12 respectfully. Juan Castro came in at 17th.
Their finishes allows both the Girls & Boys squads to run in the Bergen Meet of Champions at Darlington Park on Saturday 2 November.
The Lady Bucs Volleyball team plays their final regular season game at Speary Gym on Tuesday 29-Oct. at 7:00p against Cresskill in their Senior Night Game.
