  Some events happening in and around Bogota  over the upcoming week end.

  Friday 25-Oct
  Bogota 
 - Lady Bucs Volleyball vs. Waldwick at Speary Gym starting at 4:00p
 - Steen Halloween party for Kindergarten to 3rd Grade. Steen Gym from 6:00p to 8:00p
   Admission $3.00  Children must be accompanied by a Parent.
  Saturday 26-Oct
  Bogota 
  - Haunted Library at the Bogota Public Library Starting at 11:00a and going to 12:30p  It is free but it is asked that anyone attending register at the Library. There will be a walk -through Haunted House, mini-movie, games, crafts , and candy. Wearing of costumes is allowed.  It will be held upstairs in the Senior Center located at 375 Larch Ave Bogota. - Junior Bucs Football   host Secaucus at Feigel Field. With the Pee-Wee game  scheduled for an 11:00a Kick-off with the other two game to follow.

- High School Football . Bogota's next game is  a road game as they travel to St. Mary's in Rutherford with a 1:00p Kick-off.

- The Bogota Cross County Squads run at the Bergen County Group Championships in Darlington Park. With the first race scheduled to start at 10:00a

-  The Talent Show  for Miss Bogota 2013 will be in the Auditorium of Bogota High School.  The talent show " Reaching for the Stars" will  start at 5:00p   Tickets are priced at $10.00 and will be available at the door.

The Miss Bogota 2013 is opened to all women  from the ages of 5 to 18 years old and attend any of the four schools located within the Borough. There at three categories: 
  Little Miss Bogota for students 5 to 10 years old
  Miss Teen Bogota for students 11 to 14 years old
  Miss Bogota  for students         15 to 18 years old

 - A Halloween party for the  the 4th -6st Grade class of Steen school will be at the Steen Gym starting at 7:00p to 9:00p . Admission will be $3.00 and Pizza , Snack,and Drink will be available to be purchased.

- Operation Take Back 2013 to take place this Saturday, October 26, 2013 at Bogota Police Headquarters between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. 

Dispose of unwanted, unused and expired prescription drugs properly and safely.

Bogota

- Bogota Fire Dept. Hose Co. #2 will be hosting their annual Pancake Breakfast. It will start at 8:00a and got until 1:00p. Tickets are  $8.00 for Adults and $5.00 for Students. It will take place at the Hose #2  Firehouse located at 164 Central Ave. in Bogota, NJ. This is the seventh year for this breakfast with the process going to help maintain and run the Firehouse.
