Some weekend events happening in and around Bogota.

    There will be a campaign Fundraiser cook-out for Mayor Tito Jackson and the two candidates Councilwoman Lisa Kohles & Ingrid Brito running for Borough Council in the November election.

    This will be held at 437 Larch Ave. Bogota, NJ starting at 4:00p With a donation there will be food and music.

Sunday-13-July
Bogota
 The Bogart Memorial Church will be holding a  Bazaar to help raise money for their Summer Outreach programs in El Salvador. This will begin at 2:30p with items including Food, Clothing Toys & Kitchen Supplies available for purchase. For more information please call 201-487-1029. Future Event 

On Friday -18-July the Bixby PTA is planning a clean-up and painting of the Bixby schoolyard.  They are asking anyone who wants to volunteer please join them for the morning to help clean up the schoolyard removing any debris or weeds that are there. Then paint play areas in on the surface. Steen School have donated the stencils they use last Summer for their playground. The PTA has purchase some of the paint and supplies, but any other supplies such as brushes, rollers, rolling stick,  paint trays, paper towels,  tape and other cleaning supplies would be welcomed.  Snacks and water will also be welcomed. It is asked that Students must be accompanied by an Adult.  The  Gym will be open for the younger Students to play in while the schoolyard is being worked on.  Parents who wishes to Volunteer to act as a Gym Monitor are also needed.  The event is scheduled to start at 8:30a and go until 1:00p In case of rain the event will be moved to a later date.
