The Bogota Community Garden plans have been changed by request of the Borough. The new location of the  Community garden will be at the Tree farm located on Elm Ave at Munn Ave.  The Borough have given a number of reason for the relocation, the main reason is an easier access to a water supply. Other reason are the removal of some of the trees to be replanted in the Borough will free up space for the garden. Also the Borough is wanting to see if the redevelopment of the Hess site will affect River Rd at W. Ft. Lee Rd.
The final main point is the finalization of their Earth Day clean-up. This will be held on  Saturday 23 -April -2016. Again this year the main focus will be the clean-up of Olsen Park.  They will also clean-up the pedestrian  Railroad crossing at Ft. Lee rd. This may also include the Community garden  at Munn Ave , if time permits. Bogota Beautiful had over 150 Volunteers during their 2015 Clean-up. They are now looking for groups, or individuals to sign-up for the Earth d Day 2016. The number of Volunteers that sign up will help them plan on how many areas will be work on that day. They are also accepting donations of any equipment to  help with the clean up. Gloves, hats, racks, shoves, broom, or any other type of lawn equipment will be accepted. They are also looking for anyone who has their own power equipment to Volunteer their services on that day.  Anyone with tillers, leaf blowers, and cordless mowers would be welcome.  Bogota Beautiful is also interested in any business who would be able donate refreshment for the Volunteers. Water, snack, fruit, and Sandwiches are the primary need to get the Volunteers going on a late spring Afternoon.
