The Bogota Bucs Men's basketball team lost their opening round game at the Bergen Holiday Festival. The Bucs lost to River Dell, in overtime, 42-47. The game was back and forth with the Golden Hawks having a one point lead after the first eight minutes. While Bogota went into halftime with a 20-19 advantage. The third quarter was played to a stalemate. When Bogota took a late lead River Dell was about to send the game into extra time with a last second basket. River Dell converted a couple of free throws to seal the win.
Deiker Padrino had a game high 20 Points and 6 Three point baskets. Chris Alcantara lead Bogota with 9 Rebounds.
Bogota next Festival game will be on Tuesday 29- December against Dwight Englewood at Bergenfield High School with a tip off time schedule at 3:30p. Bogota's next league game is at Secaucus on Saturday 2-January-2016 the tip off time is now scheduled at 1:00p
