Bogota Baseball

25-April-2019
On Wednesday-24-April the Bogota baseball Bucs played host to the Vikings from North Arlington. Due to field conditions the game was moved to the little league diamond in Olsen Park. The change of playing surfaces had no effect on both pitchers. Mike Roman from North Arlington and Jake Marino for the Bucs threw shutouts for the first four full innings. In the Bottom of the fifth Argenis Soriano was hit by a pitch. Mr. Soriano then stole second base. When Jake Marino singled to the outfield Mr. Soriano was able to score  the only run of the ball game. Mr. Marino  pitch a total of 6 and one /third innings for the win. He would strike out 5. Dan Sanchez would record the final two outs of the game. Mike Roman would strike out 2 batters for the Vikings. Argenis Soriano would steal two bases, and Jake Marino one for Bogota. The Bucs record is now 4-6.
They next play on Thursday-25-April against Midland Park. This is scheduled to be played on the Feigel Field Baseball Diamond with a 4:00p start.
