Bogota Varsity Sports

   On Friday -12-April ball teams from Bogota played those from Emerson. 
   The Lady Bucs traveled to Emerson to play the Lady Cavilers. Bogota would score  one run in the top of the first inning. Emerson would answer that with seven runs in their have of the inning. Emerson would go on to win the game by a score of 11-1.
 Rudy Recio would record the one Run Batted In for the Lady Bucs.  The Lady Cavilers’ Stephanie Seretis would have game highs of 4 Runs Batted In, 2 Doubles, and throw 5 Strike Out for the win.
   On Thursday-11-April Bogota would play at Waldwick as the make-game from Friday-5-April. The Lady Warriors would win by the score of 8-0. 
  Bogota’s record is now 3-3. They next play on Monday-15-April at Midland Park. The first pitch is scheduled for 4:00p. 
  Due to the Bogota Sports Carnival from Tuesday-16 to Saturday-20-April some of the Lady Bucs game may need to be rescheduled.

   The Men’s Baseball Bucs hosted the Emerson Cavilers at the Feigel Field Baseball Diamond.  Emerson would score twice in the top of the first, and Bogota would three times in the bottom of that inning to have an early 3-2.  The Cavilers again score 2 runs in the next inning, and Bogota would tie the game at 4 each. Once again Emerson would have a 2 run top of the inning. This time, in the third, the Bucs could answer back.  The fourth inning was the only at bats neither team would score. In the final three innings the Cavilers would score six more times, to Bogota one and win the game 12-5. 
  Jose Marte would lead Bogota with 3 Runs batted In 3 Stolen Bases and hit one Triple. Argenis Soriano would hit a Double. Jake Marino would strike out 2, and record the loss.
   The Cavilers’ Mike Carmoson would have a game high with 4 Runs Batted In and Joe Carmoson would hit a Double. Brendan Patterson would have a solo Home Run for Emerson. 
   On Wednesday-10-April Bogota would lose at Hawthorne Christian Academy by the score of 6-8. Bogota’s record is now 3-3. They next play on Monday-15-April against Midland Park at the Feigel Field Baseball Diamond. The first pitch is scheduled for 4:00p.
