On Saturday-13-July the next Standz4Something held their next fundraiser. This latest Standz will go to benefit Class 08 of the Bogota Emergency Service Youth Academy. This took place on Larch Ave in Bogota. Sherry Solomov and her two children offered passers by some cold lemonade and a variety of snacks. Some of the patrons were Academy Alumni and their family. Officers of the Bogota Police Dept. stopped by to get a refreshment before starting their patrol. Then Youth Academy Director Sgt Craig Lynch walked up to sample the product. Not letting a chance to educate slip by Sgt Lynch asked the young Sales Person if he could get a discount. She then asked her Mother what to do. She informed the Sgt Lynch that the price her Parents set was two dollars. The EYSA Director then commended her on following her Parents wishes and gladly gave her the proper amount. By the end of the afternoon they reach their goal for Class 08.
The next Standz4Somthing will be held to support the Bogota Volunteer Fire Dept. More details will be released at a later date.
