The Bogota Lady Bucs hosted the Lady Warriors on the Jay Mahoney Court in Speary Gym.   The game start out with the officials causing the teams to face in the opposite direction than normal. Before any points could be scored the confusion was settled and the  game continued  with the teams playing in the proper direction. This would have one of the lowest scoring first quater of the season seeing the Lady Bucs having a 2-1 lead after the first eight minutes. While the Lady Bucs could not get the ball to fall in their favor Waldwick was able to start finding the bottom of the net. Bogota would show their frustration, at the lack of scoring, and started to commit many unforced errors and turnovers. In addition Waldwick played a full court press for the first half of the game and took advantage of the Bogota defense to take a 16-6 lead at halftime. In the next part of the game the Lady Warriors kept the pressure on Bogota. This would add to the Bogota problems with missed coverage and passes that missed the target.  By games end Waldwick would have a 45-17 win.
Bogota's is now 3-14. Ruby Recio scored 6 Points for Lady Bucs including 1 Three point. Ashley Bautista also scored 1 Three Point Basket for Bogota. Waldwick's Casey James was the games top scorer with 8 Points. The Warriors' Emily Toolen had a game high with 2 Three Point Baskets.
Bogota will next play on Thursday-13-February when they travel to Emerson. The tip off time  is scheduled for  7:00p
