On Wednesday-5-February the Bogota- Ridgefield Park Scarlet/Bucs hosted the Lodi Rams in Frank P. Bell Gym at Ridgefield Park High School. This was Senior Night, and before the Varsity match Brain Montalvo and Andre Ruiz were recognized by the audience for their participation in the Wrestling program.
Bogota- Ridgefield Park won the match by a score of 58-22. Of the 14 bouts scheduled 10 were competed. Bogota- Ridgefield Park would win six of those. Anthony Landi at 113 lbs, Jaden Rodriguez at 120 lbs, Andre Ruiz at 138lbs, Andrew Vargas at 152 lbs, and Kevin Flores at 170 lbs would recorded Pinfalls. Adam Albino at 106 lbs, would win by a Major Decision 12-3.
Bogota- Ridgefield Park now has a 12-5 record for the season.
They next compete on Friday-7-February at Speary Gym in Bogota. The first bout is scheduled to start at 7:00p. This time Bogota High School will honour the Senior Wrestlers.
