Storm updates

Report from the heavy snow storm on Wednesday-16-December.  Total accumulation around Bergen Country ranged from a low of  5 1/4" in Saddle River to a High of 10" in Ft. Lee. The Bogota Department of Public Works plowed and salted the Borough Street through out the night.  The Bogota Police report only a few minor incidents during the evening.

Some advisory issued by the Bogota Police Department for Thursday night and Friday-18-December:
-THERE WILL BE NO METAL PICK UP TOMORROW 12/18/2020 AND GARBAGE WILL BE PICKED UP AS SCHEDULED.

-FRIDAY PARKING WILL BE ENFORCED TOMORROW 12/18/2020 ALL VEHICLES ARE TO BE REMOVED BY 9:00a FROM THE OVERNIGHT AREAS PLUS WEST SIDE OF LARCH AVE.

-OVERNIGHT PARKING IS SUSPENDED. ALL VEHICLES TO BE REMOVED FROM THE STREET. PARKING ALLOWED IN OVERNIGHT AREAS ONLY.
WEST SIDE OF TOWN: (HACKENSACK SIDE)
ALL AND ONLY AREAS WHERE OVERNIGHT PARKING IS PERMITTED.
THIS INCLUDES:
ORCHARD TERRACE (WEST SIDE OF STREET)
WEST FORT LEE ROAD (NORTH SIDE OF STREET)
WEST GROVE STREET (BETWEEN AVE AND LINDEN AVE)
AND THE WEST SIDE OF LARCH AVENUE 
EAST SIDE OF TOWN: (TEANECK SIDE)
ALL AND ONLY AREAS WHERE OVERNIGHT PARKING IS PERMITTED.  
THIS INCLUDES:
WEST SHORE AVENUE (ANGLED PARKING ONLY, RAILROAD TRACK SIDE)
RIDGEFIELD AVENUE ( EAST SIDE OF STREET BETWEEN EAST FORT LEE AND WEST END AVENUE)
EAST FORT LEE ROAD (NORTH SIDE OF STREET)
LEONIA AVENUE BOTH SIDE OF THE STREET( LINWOOD AVE TO EAST FORT LEE ROAD)
PALISADE AVENUE ( IN FORNT OF 15 PALISADE AVENUE, EAST SIDE OF STREET  FROM NORTH AVE TO FAIRVIEW AVE)

-REMINDER 18 HOURS AFTER SNOW FALL SNOW IS TO BE REMOVED FROM SIDEWALKS AND STEPS OF HOMES AND PROPERTIES. ORDINANCE # 3-5.1

It was announced at the Bogota Borough Council meeting the Bogota Office of Emergency Management has order the full closing of the Bogota Borough Hall starting on Friday-18-December for at least three days. This was due to a positive test for covid -19. The Bogota Department of Public Works will perform a deep cleaning of the entire building over this time.  test will be conducted before the Building can re-open for staff. and full safety protocol will then be in-affect.
