On Wednesday-2-February The Bogota/Ridgefield Park Scarlet-Bucs Wrestling squad traveled to Hawthorne to compete against the Bears. Bogota/Ridgefield Park would win the match by a score of 45 to 28. Of the 11 bouts that took place he Scarlet-Bucs won 6 of them.
Bogota/Ridgefield Park's Adam Albino at 120 lbs, Josh Gesmundo at 138 lbs, and Gabriel Nunez at 157 lbs would all win by Pinfalls.
Hawthorne's Cormac Smith at 144 lbs, Andrew Moretta at 215 lbs, and Antonio Sangama at 285 lbs had Pinfall wins. The Bears' Kaleb Ambrose at 106 lbs and Ashton Navarrete 165 lbs scored Technical Falls.
Bogota/Ridgefield Park's record is now 12-2. Their next match is on Thursday-3-February against Ramsey. This will be held in Speary Gym with the first bout scheduled for 7:00p. This will also be Senior Night for the Scarlet-Bucs
