Bogota Basketball

   On Monday-31- January the Bogota Basketball teams played those from Park Ridge.  The Lady Bucs traveled to the Park Ridge Lady Owls.  Bogota would lose the game by the score of 15-54. Ella Madden had a game high of 15 Points for Park Ridge.  Ashley Bautista led Bogota with 6 Points.  Ms. Bautista and Maryann Gesmundo had a team high with 2 Three Point Baskets  Their record is now 4-7. They next play on Tuesday-1-February when the #6 Lady Bucs travel to  #3 Bergen Tech at Teterboro in the opening round of the Region A Bergen Invitational Tournament

  The Men's Basketball Bucs hosted the Owls on the Jay Mahoney Court in Speary Gym. Before the tip-off Bogota Head Coach Jay Mahoney presented Evan Meberg  with a plaque commemorating his 1,000th points from the game before. 

   When the game started the Owls used their taller Centers and Guards to limit the chances  Bogota could try from the inside. Park would control the board and post a 58-246 win. Bogota's Even Meberg would lead all scores with 24 Points. He is now 11th on Bogota all time scores with 1,029 Points. Is is behind Hakim Fennel and Lou Pena by 5 Points.  Evan Burns score 15 Points for the high for Park Ridge.  Jaden Feliz and Daniel Trinidad record a game high  3 Three Point Baskets each.  Mr. Burns and Ryan Long each had 1 Three point Basket for the Owls.

  They next play on  Thursday-3-February when they travel to Midland Park. The tip-off is 6:00p
