Bogota Football

 19-September-2022
On Saturday 17-September the Bogota Football Bucs held their Home Opener at Feigel Field. They hosted the Weehawken Indians in the annual night game. After receiving the Kick-off Weehawken started their drive on their own 32 yard line. Bryce Honig took the snap and ran 68 yards, down the left side for the Touchdown. With a successful extra point, the Visitors had a 7-0 lead. The game stayed that way until late in the Third Quarter.  The Indians Eneanz Wells intercepted at Brain Coats pass and returned it 32 yards for the Major Score. The extra was again made and Weehawken had a 14-0 lead.
Halfway through the final 12 Minutes Bogota's Joseph Perpepaj  ran for an 18 yard touchdown. The two-point attempted was stopped short of the endzone leaving the score at 14-6.  The game end ended with the Visitor's leaving with a 14-6 win.
Bogota's record is now 1-1. They next play on Saturday 1- October against Elmwood Park. This will take place at Fiegel Field with a 1:00p kick-off.
