  Results from game played by Bogota Varsity Sports
   The Bogota Soccer Bucs opened their season at Midland Park to play the Panthers.  The game was scoreless well into the first half. At the 29 minute mark Bogota's Edwin Suquinagua scored the first goal of the game. The Bucs kept this lead until the closing minutes of the half. Emmannuel Marin then scored twice in two minutes and give Bogota a 3-0 lead at half time.  After the restart Midland Park's Shawn Bolan put the home team on the board. Quickly after that Bogota's Shawn Tarquino reestablished a three goal advantage.  At the hour mark Alyssa Ramirez expanded the Bogota lead to 5-1.  The teams would trade goals in the last five minutes with Will Beckman for the Panthers, and Bogota's closing the score with his second goal of the game. Marcus Ventura made 8 Saves for the Bucs with Ryan Clark recording 16 Save for Midland Park.
   Bogota's record is now 1-0. The next play on Thursday-15-September against Dwight-Englewood. This will be the Home Opener and played on Zakrzewski Field in Olsen Park vs Cresskill. Kick off time is at 4:00p.
  The Bogota Lady Bucs Volleyball team played their Home Opener in Speary Gym against the St. Mary's Lady Gaels. St. Mary's would serve first, but Bogota. Would score the first point of the Match. Bogota would take a 3-0 lead and build it to 10-3. Durning the first set the Lady Bucs would have a double-digit advantage most of the time and win 25-10.
  In the second set the Lady Bucs' Jenelly Jimenez gave the home team a 4-0 start. St. Mary's would have their own run to tie the set at 4 apiece. The set was tied again at 5-5. Bogota then outscored their opponents 20 to 7 for the rest of the set. They won the set by a score of 25-12 and the Match 2-0. 
  Bogota's Ashanna Caviness lead all scorers with 16 Kills. Mia Pimentel recorded 24 Assist, and Gianna Estevez had 12 Digs.  Ms. Pimentel, Ms. Estevez, Jenelly Jimenez, and Sarah Marquez all scored 6 Service Points. Mia Pimentel along with Emma Fowler had 2 Blocks apiece. Bogota's record id now 2-0. They next play on Saturday-10-September at the Jersey Classic in Paramus, this starts at 9:00p
