On Thursday-16- September the Bogota Board of
Education held their meeting for the month.
During his reports Superintendent
Mr. Damian Kennedy
introduced the Student Representative
Ms. Ximena Vargas to give her first report of the year. She talked about the
opening of the 2025-26 year and Fall sports. Ms. Vargas added that the Drama
Club’s Fall Production will be held in Steen School.
Superintendent Kennedy had a
few announcements which included the date of the next Board of Education is now
on Tuesday -28-October, a week later than the original date. It will still be
in the High School Cafeteria and online starting at 7:00p. He added that the
CTE Building should be ready to accept Students by the end of the Month. With
the Auditorium and Bixby Gym opening in late October.
All
resolutions on the consent agenda were
approved by unanimous vote.
The next meeting will be
on Tuesday-28-October at 7:00p. This will be held in the High School Cafeteria
located on the second floor of 2 Henry Luthin Pl. and online.
