 Results from Bogota Lady Bucs Volleyball Squad over the passed weekend.
 On Friday-12-September Bogota hosted the New Milford Lady Knights in Speary Gym.
New Milford would serve first, when Bogota had a side out Melannie Solis then gave the Lady Bucs a quick 5-0 lead. They would build a double-digit advantage by the middle of the set. When New Milford put together their own scoring run, Head Coach Brad DiRupo used a time out to get the players refocused on the match. This produced a 8 to 2 scoring run that gave Bogota a 25-12 set win.
 In the second set Bogota started with a 6-0 lead on their way to a 25-9 set win, for a 2-0 Match victory. Emma Fowler scored a Match high with 18 Kills, Melannie Solis led all players with 12 Service Points with 2 Aces, and a team high with 8 Digs. Lucy Villamar also had 8 Digs and 2 Aces. Nikole Alvarez recorded a Match high with 14 Assists, and 2 more Aces. Keidy Rodriguez accounted for 2 Blocks.
 The Lady Knights Makayla Morgan led her team with 2 Kills and Nicole Morales scored a Match high with 18 Digs.
  On Saturday-13 September Bogota would travel to West Morris Central  to take on the Lady Wolfpack. This was played as a five-set match. This year the New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association will allow a  best of five-set match if both teams agree to play that format before the match starts. All Bergen County Tournament matches as well as State Tournament matches will be played as best of 5 this year.
 Bogota would win the first set by a score of 25-15. The Lady Wolfpack tied the Match with a 25-14 second set win. The Lady Bucs would then win the next two sets by the score of  25-20 and 25-15 for a 3-1 road Match win.
   Emma Fowler scored a Match high with 30 Kills, Ms. Fowler, Melannie Solis, and Lucy Villamar all recorded 12 Service Points. Ms. Villamar led the team with 12 Digs. Nikole Alvarez recorded a team high with 26 Assists, while Keidy Rodriguez had a match high with 4  Blocks. Emma Fowler had a match high with 6 Aces.
 West Morris Central’s Elizabeth Murphy had a Match High with 16 Digs and a team high of 12 Kills. Juliana Stingle had a Match high with 32 Assists. Both players led their team with 2 Aces.
 The Lady Bucs record is now 5-1. They next play on Tuesday-16-September in Lyndhurst with a first serve at 4:00p.
