On Tuesday-23-September the Bogota Lady Bucs Volleyball team hosted the Cliffside Park Lady Red Raiders in Speary Gym.
Cliffside Park served first with Kaitlyn Bielins and they opened a 4-0 lead. The visitors would stay ahead for most of the first set. Bogota slowly closed the margin and tied the set at 16 to 16. The Lady Bucs then took their first lead at 18-17. A number of ties followed and then the Lady Bucs produced a 23-21 advantage. When the Red Raiders won back the ball Avril Gonzalez, then served for the next three points to win the set by the score of 25-23.
The next two sets had Bogota control the play more, which had them winning the second set by the score of 25-16 and the third set 25 to 18 to earn a 2 to 1 win.
Emma Fowler scored a Match high with 22 Kills; Melannie Solis had a team and career high with 18 Service Points with 6 Aces. Ariana Marchant led the team with a high of 12 Digs. Nikole Alvarez recorded a Match high with 20 Assists, with Keidy Rodriguez recording a match high with 4 Blocks.
The Lady Bucs record is now 9-1. They next play on Thursday-25-September in Glen Rock with a first serve at 4:00p.
Reminder the Bogota Football Bucs home game against Park Ridge on Thursday-24-September will now have a 4:30p kick-off in Feigel Field.
