ARC walk

On Sunday 2-June  the  ARC of Bergen, and Passaic Counties held their 16th Walk -A-Thon in Olsen park in Bogota. It attracted over 500 walkers to help raise money so ARC can help those who have developmental disabilities and their families. The walk took place over a 1.5 mile loop around both sections of Olsen Park.  It had a starting point behind the Newly Constructed Band shell. Past the Veteran's memorial Garden, over the Environmental Walkway, and around the Softball field. It then crossed over Main Street , with help of the Bogota Auxiliary Police, walking around the perimeter of the Little league fields and back over Main St. by the Tennis & Basketball courts  to then go back to the start line. All team finished one lap while other kept going for at least two more laps, while raising more money with each loop around the course.
At the end of the walk the participants were treated to refreshments provide by the Masons, and music by Willie Wilson and the Willies. For more information about the ARC of Bergen, & Passaic Counties, or to donate please go to
