On Sunday 1-June the Friendship House of North Jersey held their 8th annual Wellness Walk at Olsen Park in Bogota. Over 250 walker enjoyed the First day of June by raising awareness and money for Mental Heath & Autism. DJ Scott Reddin provided music for the day, while Instructor Darlene Marshall help the walkers warm up with a Zumba workout. After some laps around Olsen Park the walkers treated to lunch and dessert and could relax with some games.
The North Jersey Friendship House is a non-profit organization that works with adults with varying abilities and provides them with comprehensive clinical treatment, vocational training and work opportunities in order to help them achieve meaningful and productive lives.
