    Read to Maggie the Beagle

Monday 1- Dec
Hackensack, NJ
   The City of Hackensack will hold their Holiday Tree Lighting  starting at 5:30p. This will take place on the Courthouse Green, located at Main & Court Sts. Hackensack, NJ. There will Victorian Carolers,Costume Characters,Free Popcorn, Cookies, Hot Cocoa, Appearance from Santa, Free Gift for Children Under 12, Free Trolley on Main St.  Parking  will be available at the Municipal Lots at the corner of Moore & Bridge Sts.





Weds & Thurs.-3 & 4-Dec.
Bogota 
Members of the Bogota Marching Buccaneers band will be decorating some of the Wreaths that have been order. They can be pick-up on Weds. from 6:00p to 9:00p and on Thurs. from 3:00p to 6:00p. Pick-up will be at the Bogota Recreation Center  located at 162 W. Main St Bogota, NJ. Proceeds will go to the Bogota marching Buccaneer Band. For more information please go to:www.bucsband.com



Thursday- 4-Dec.
Bogota 
  The Bogota Borough Council will be holding their regular Council meeting  and work session starting at 7:30p in Council Chambers of Bogota Borough Hall located at 375 Larch Ave, Bogota , NJ. This meeting is open to the public.

 Fri. & Sat.-  5 & 6- December
Bogota

   The Bogota Fine Arts Dept. will present their production of "Shakespeare Revisited"  featuring three original adaptation of "MacBeth"," Taming of the Shrew" & "A Midsummers Night Dream" by Sabrina Albirt. Curtain times for both performance at 7:00p, and will take place in the High School Auditorium.  Tickets are $7.00 for Adults & $5.00 for Students and Seniors. The High School is  located at 2 Henry Luthin Pl. Bogota , NJ.

 Saturday-6- December
Bogota
 The Bogota Volunteer Fire Dept will hold it's annual Chiefs election. This will take place in the Senior Center of the Bogota Public Library. This is schedule to start at 7:30p and the public is invited to attend. At this meeting the New Chief of the Bogota Fire Dept will be sworn in for the year 2015. Also at  this event some annual awards will be handed out including Company of the Year and Firefighter of the Year.

Sunday-7- December
Bogota
    START II will hold its third annual Holiday event and sale. This will take place at the Bogota Recreation Center located at 162 W. Main St. Bogota, NJ. It will run from 11:00a to 4:00p. There will gifts for both pets and their Human friends. A chance to have photos  take of your pet, or children, with Santa. Along with information on caring ,or adopting for a pet. All proceeds from this event will go to find homes for the Cats & Dog would need one. Including Spaying (or Neutering)  as well as shots of the animals looking to be adopted.

 Sunday-7- December
Bogota
   The Miss Bogota 2015 Pageant  will hold an orientation meeting starting at 4:00p for the Contestants and their guardians. This will be held on the second floor of the  Kennedy  Emergency Services Building located at 69 W. Main St. Bogota, NJ. This is only for those contestants registered for the Pageant.   If there is anyone would still wishes to become a contestant applications will be accepted up  to Sunday 7 -Dec. 
There is a $15 entrance fee. Application are available at the Bogota Rec Center and at the Bogota Public Library located at 175 Larch Ave. in Bogota, NJ. For more information please call 201-880-5492.
