The Music Dept. of Bogota High School will present its Winter Concert for 2014. This will be held in the High School Auditorium starting at 7:30p Tickets are available at the door for $5.00 This will feature the Flute Ensemble which will be greeting the guest in the lobby. The show will consist of performances by the Jazz Band, Men's and Women's Choirs, the Full Choirs, and the Concert Band.

The Bogota Borough Council will be holding their regular Council meeting and work session starting at 7:30p in Council Chambers of Bogota Borough Hall located at 375 Larch Ave, Bogota , NJ. This meeting is open to the public.

Carolers from Bogota Beautiful are planning to sing along the streets of Bogota. They are scheduled to be on Larch Ave in the evening. If a household would be interested in scheduling a personal caroling visit, arrangements can be made by contacting Bogota Beautiful They will offer a chance to hear them perform for any residential home at a set time for a suggested donation of $5.00. These should be schedule in advanced with a choice of times , and days to chose from.

The Bixby School will host a Winter Dance in the Bixby Gym. All 5th & 6st grade students from Bixby, Steen , and St.Joseph's school are welcomed to attend. Cost is $5 to be paid at the door. The dance is schedule to start at 7:00p and go until 10:00p . It is asked that any Student wishing to attend the dance must have a signed permission slip when entering and a name and contact number provided of the person picking up the Student at the end of the evening. Both Bogota Basketball teams open their 2015 Season. The Lady Bucs travel to Hawthorne Christian Academy for a 4:00p game. They play their Home opener on Monday 22- Dec at Speary starting at 4:00p.The Boys Team host Hawthorne Christian Academy at Speary Gym with a 7:00P tipoff. Their next game is at Waldwick on Monday -22-Dec starting at 7:00p
The Bogota Bucs Wrestling Squad has it's first match of the season at Dover starting at 5:00p. They next take part in the Garfield Tournament starting at 9:00a
