The Men's Basketball Bucs hosted the Panthers on the newly dedicated "Coach Jay Mahoney Court" (a special post on this story will follow).
Early in the first quarter  Midland Park would have  a one point lead which would be only time Bogota would trail in the game. The Bucs would methodically build a lead through out the first half with their defense and Three Point scoring. Bogota lead at the half by the score of 32-24.  After the restart the same formula allowed Bogota to extend their lead into double digits.Midway through  the final quarter Bogota Coach Jay Mahoney took a time out to remind his players of the lead they had built up and to focus on defending their lead and not to add to it.  They followed their Coach advice to secure a 69-50 win. Tim Uzor  and Deiker Padrino each had team highs of 20 Points, Mr Uzor recording 5 Three Point Baskets and Mr. Padrino having 4 Three Point Baskets. Bogota record is now 2-1. They next compete in the Bergenfield Holiday Tournament from Tuesday-27 Dec to Friday 30-Dec at Bergenfield High School Start time is schedule for 3:00p.
Their next league game will be at Green Meadow in Waldorf, NY with a scheduled tip-off of 5:30p
