Bogota Basketball

   The basketball teams from Bogota played those from Waldwick on Thursday-16-February. The Men's team traveled to Waldwick  and came away with a 64-29 win.  Bogota  started the game strong building a 21-5 lead after the first quater.  But have time the advantage had grown to 35-15.  Chris Castillo had a game high of 19 Points, and Tim Uzor lead all scores with 3 Three Point baskets. Dieker Padrino recorded a  Triple Double with 12 points, 11 Assists and 10 Rebounds.  
  Bogota's record is now 15-6. They next play Westwood in the second round on Saturday 18-February with the start scheduled to be at 6:00p. This will be played at St. Joseph's High School in Montvale, NJ. Their next league game is on Tuesday 21-February against Hawthorne Christian Academy . This is schedule to have a 7:00p tip-off and be play at home on the Jay Mahoney Court.

   The Lady Bucs played at home and suffered a 38-53 loss to Waldwick. The Lady Warriors open the game scoring the first 11 Points and would not let Bogota close the gap.  Tatiana Bruno was the teams high scorer with 14 points. Emma O'Brien had a game high with 3 Three Point baskets.  The now have a record of  2-19. The Lady Bucs will play their Senior game on Friday 17- February against Green Meadow on the Jay Mahoney Court with a tip-off schedule for 5:00p
