Bogota Beautiful

     On Wednesday-21-February Bogota Beautiful held its board meeting for February. Some of the new agenda items was the announcement that the Zumba event at Bogart Church will be suspended until  Tuesday-13-March and will run until Tuesday -24-April. Admission to each session is now $7.00 per person and will start at 7:00p going until 8:00p This will take place every Tuesday until 24-April. Process from this event will go to fund Bogota Beautiful project for the year 2018. The Zumba Class is part of Bogota Beautiful heath and welfare initiative which will continue this Spring and Summer with their Yoga in the Park series. 

   The next item was setting the date for Bogota Beautiful's annual Earth Day event. This will take place on Saturday-21-April. It is tentative schedule to start at 10:00a. Bogota Beautiful is asking for ideas of which area of the Borough is in need of a Spring Clean-up.  The meeting place will depend on which locates are approved to be worked on. They are also looking to incorporate a " Clothing Exchange" as part of the actives. This will allow anyone to exchange lightly used clothing items to someone else who could use them. 

  Another item was the consideration of opening the Bogota Community Garden to anyone who has rented a planting box.  The garden is looking at the last week of April to be the last frost for Bergen County. They are also wanting to be to be apart of the Earth Day Clean-up to prepare the garden for the Spring planting season. To rent a planting box for 2018 please contact them at . Price for a years rental is $45.00

   Finally it was announced that at the next Bogota Beautiful will be on Wednesday 21- March-2018.  This will be held at the Kennedy Emergency Services Building located at 69 W. Main St Bogota, NJ starting at 7:30p. And is open to the Public
