Future Events

  Some future events happening in March and April.

Saturday-24-March
Bogota
  The Bogota Recreation Commission will host its annual Easter Egg hunt in Olsen Park. This will take place near the Olsen Environmental Walkway. The Egg hunt is open to all Bogota student from the ages of Pre-Kindergarten to Fourth grade.   It will be separated into three groups. The first group will be Pre-School Student and will start at 9:00a.  The second group will be for Kindergarten to Second Grade Students starting at 9:20a. With the final group for 3rd 7 4th Grade Student beginning at 9:40 a. All Students are asked to arrive 10 minutes before their group start. Only the first group will be allowed to be accompanied by their Parents.  Parents of the older group must stay behind the fencing. 
   There will be prizes and photo opportunities with the Easter Bunny.  Any Student may bring their own Easter Baskets. The Recreation Commission will also pass out  egg bags  for anyone who wants.  For more information please contact Jim Moore at:   bogotarec@gmail.com . This is a free event.

Saturday-24-March

Teaneck, NJ

   The North Jersey Friendship House  will host a Texas Hold'em poker tournament at the Knights of Columbus hall in Teaneck, NJ.  Entrance fee is $100.00 buy-in for $5,000 worth in Chips. Doors will open at 6:00p with the first deal at 7:00p. Entrance  fee will include buffet with soft drinks. There will be a "re-buy" before  break time. Anyone pre-registering    will receive  an addtion $500.00 worth of chips.

Saturday-21-April
Bogota
    The St. Joseph's School in Bogota Will hold their Spirit Sprint 5K Run / Walk. This will start, and finish at the Bogota Recreation Center located at 162 W. Main St Bogota, NJ.  There will be both a Women's And Men's race with 6 different divisions each.  The Divisions are 14 years and younger: 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, and 50 years and older. The top two finishers in each division will be awarded metals.  There will also be a non-competitive  walking event  as well. Entrance fee is $25.00 for racers registering before Friday-30-March.  Fee for those 14 and under will be $20.00.  The first 200 register will receive a t-shirt. Race Day registration fee will be $30.00. Proceeds will go to the Special Olympics and  St. Joseph's School. 
   Medals will be award after all the competitors have returned to the Recreation Center. All racers under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an Adult. Every race must sign a waiver before the race. Parent of anyone under 12 must also sign a wavier.

Friday-27-April
Bogota

 The St. Joseph's School in Bogota Will hold their 11th annual Raffle. This will take place in the St. Joseph's Gymnasium located at  115 E. Ft. Lee Rd Bogota. Doors will open at 6:00p with the drawing starting at 7:30p Admission will be $35 which will include one sheet of tickets, light beverages and desserts.  Anyone attending may bring their own food.  This is an Adult event with anyone under 18 years old will not be allowed to attend. Additional tickets will be available for purchase including  50/50 tickets.
