Meetings

   Brief results from the Public meeting of the Bogota Borough Council, and the Bogota Board of Education. 
  On Thursday-21-March the Bogota Borough Council held their regular meeting.  The resolutions  on the payment of claims, and the appointment of  the Borough Planner, Borough Lab Attorney, Borough Website  Webmaster were all approved.  There was discussion of  current Borough towing ordinance, but no decisions  was made.  A discussion about the amending of the Bogota Police Dept. code to allow for Special Law Enforcement Offices did not take place. 
 Thursday-28-February the Council held a Budget hearing on the Capital Budget requests by the Bogota Volunteer Fire Dept. The Dept. of Public Works, and the Bogota Police Dept. 
  The Bogota Borough Council will be held on Thursday-7-March. This will be a regular Council meeting  and work session starting at 7:30p.   This will be held in the Council Chambers located on the second floor  of 375 Larch Ave. Bogota NJ   This meeting is open to the public.

On Tuesday-26 February The Bogota board of Education held their regular meeting.The Board was presented with their annual financial report for the fiscal year ending in June -2018. The notable agenda items passed was the hiring of a new Technology Coordinator. The approval of assistant coaches for Softball, and Baseball, and a volunteer  coach for track. The Board also accepted a donation from the E Roy Bixby PTO to be used to renovate the Bixby Media Centre.
     The Bogota Board of Education  will have their  next  meeting on Tuesday-12-March starting at 7:00p. This will be held in the  High School Cafeteria  located on the second floor of 2 Henry Luthin place Bogota,  The Public is invited to attend.
