On Saturday-24-July the first "Standz For" lemonade stand of the season took place. On this day they were fundraising for the Bogota Recreation Department programs. Proceeds from this event will go to off-set the cost of Bogota Recreation programs. This is to encourage more local residents to take advantage of what is available.
On Saturday-24-July the first "Standz For" lemonade stand of the season took place. On this day they were fundraising for the Bogota Recreation Department programs. Proceeds from this event will go to off-set the cost of Bogota Recreation programs. This is to encourage more local residents to take advantage of what is available.
They met their goal for the day by selling a variety of home made baked goods, and freshly made lemonade.
Patrons included a few members of the Bogota Police Department who stopped by before starting their afternoon patrol. A steady flow of customers visited through out the early afternoon to purchase the items on sale. They came away with a number of homemade treats while aiding the Bogota Recreation Department with their funding.
