Results from Bogota Varsity Sports for Tuesday-19-September.

  The Bogota Soccer Bucs hosted the Ridgefield Royals on Zakrzewski Field in Olsen Park. Ridgefield scored three times in the first half and three more after the restart. Bogota would get a goal by Isaac Betances with Daniel Giraldo recording the assist, in the 6-1 loss. Marcus Ventura made 9 saves. Thier record is now 0-4. They next play on Thursday-21- September against Palisades Park at 4:00p. This will take place on Zakrzewski Field in Olsen Park.

 The Bogota Lady Bucs Volleyball team traveled to Saddle Brook to play the Lady Falcons. Saddle Brook would serve first and score the first point of the set. Then Bogota won back the serve and them took a 2-1 lead. This would be the first of 10 ties with 3 and changes by the two team. With the set now tied at 11 the Lady Bucs took the lead.  This was followed by Emma Fowler serving three points and give Bogota a 15-11 advantage.  The set ended with Bogota scoring the last four set points for a 25-18 win. 

  In the second set Bogota would serve first and have the first score. Once again, the teams would stay close together 8 ties and three lead changes. Saddle Brook took the final change and tie the match a 1 set apiece by the score of 25-21.

  The final set opened with Saddle Brook serving, but with the Lady Bucs taking a 3-0. This set need 10 ties and 4 lead changes before Bogota could go on a five-point run and post a 19-15 margin.  Bogota closed out the match with a 25-19 third set win, for a 2-1 Match victory. Bogota's record is now 4-1.

 Emma Fowler scored a match and Varsity career high 16 Kills.  Kaelee Zuniga also had a Match and Varsity career highs with 30 assists. Melannie Solis recorded 10 Digs.

  Their next match on Thursday-21-September at Ridgefield. The first serve is scheduled for 4:00p.
