Lady Bucs Volleyball

On Thursday-15-September the Bogota Lady Bucs Volleyball team hosted the Lady Lions from Leonia, in Speary Gym. Leonia would serve first but Bogota would record the opening point of the match. This was followed by four points by the Lady Lions.  After a pairs of tie scores Bogota would re-take their lead.  The visitor had the third lead change of the set opened a four point at 14-10. Bogota's Isabella Cruz serving would again tie the set, this one was 14-14.  Two more ties occurred until Adamarys Pinos put the Lady Bucs in the lead again at 17-16.  Bogota would go on to win the first set by a score of 25-20. This set had 7 ties with 4 lead changes.

  Bogota served first in the second set with Ms. Cruz providing the first three points. The Lady Bucs would maintain a small advantage until Emma Fowler served a five-point run.  This let Bogota open a double-digit margin on the way to a 25-13 set win for a 2-0 match victory.

Isabella Cruz scored 12 Kills equaling her Varsity career high. Emma Fowler matching her career record with 10 Service Points and a new high scoring 4 Aces. Kaelee Zuniga had 22 assists along with Adamarys Pinos, Melannie Solis, and Isabella Cruz all having 4 Digs each.

  Bogota's record is now 3-1 with their next match on Tuesday-19-September at Saddle Brook. The first serve is scheduled for 4:00p.
